Provided technical guidance and support as a 24-hour geosteering consultant for horizontal oil and gas drilling using the latest MWD and LWD drilling tools, including: gamma ray, azimuthal gamma ray, resistivity, azimuthal resistivity, gamma ray imaging, and resistivity imaging tools.- Consulted on and geosteered over 40 horizontal oil and gas wells, including: Granite Wash, Fayetteville, Woodford, Eagleford, Marcellus, Bone Springs, Mississippian, Cleveland, Oswego and Niobrara.- Authored a software training manual for Baker Hughes’ proprietary horizontal steering software program, RNS.

Functioned as one of the lead geologists for the Arkoma Woodford Shale play in Southeastern Oklahoma as well as the Fayetteville Shale play in Arkansas.- Progressed the Woodford Shale play from initial regional mapping phase, to prospect identification, and then to a horizontal development program.- Collaborated with reservoir technology group and team geophysicists to identify high priority locations and drilling hazards in structurally complex areas. Utilized core data, seismic information, and well performance to identify high quality focus areas.- Coordinated with the land department to gain a substantial lease hold in the core of the play.- Prospected and drilled over 25 horizontal Arkoma Woodford Shale wells, and over 50 horizontal Fayetteville Shale wells, with a 100% success rate.- Performed as a technical member in Chesapeake’s multibillion-dollar sale of the Woodford Shale play.
