Test team for Intel’s AnyPoint Networking Products (802.11b, HomeRF, and HPNA).• Executed tests cases covering the setup and install of the Intel AnyPoint Software for Windows.• Developed and executed test for Intel Wireless Gateways and Adapters.

Responsible for developing early prototypes and determining development issues with moving to Windows CE from VxWorks until organization was shutdown when Intel exited the Intel Branded CE Buisiness.• Built both standard and non-standard Windows CE 3.0 and Windows CE 4.0 platforms, and created and ran Windows CE tests using Microsoft CE Test Tool (CETT).• Evaluated different 802.11b network radios, their drivers and possible interoperability concerns associate with them and technologies including WEP and Microsoft ZeroConfig (NDIS 5.1).

As part of Intel’s Rotation Engineering Program, I was hired to rotate thru multiple organizations gaining diverse experiences and building an expanded cross company network. During my 1st rotation, I was responsible for promotion of Java on Intel Architecture (specifically around the Intel Itanium Processor).• Created and scheduled guest speakers for “Java Day,” a day devoted to Java at Intel, in which we had approximately 150 Java Engineers come together to discuss their learning’s and to build a network of Java contacts.• Oversaw and organized a suite of 13 Java demos from third-party companies. • Generated Java Benchmarks, wrote an initial draft for a Java Primer for marketing.For my Second rotation, joined a team building an Intel Branded Internet Tablet / Appliance.• Prototyped new features/compatibilities, like Telewebbing and Interactive TV, developed, setup, and gave product demos at CES, Comdex and to key customers and partners.• This rotation provided me with an understanding of embedded operating systems including Windriver’s VxWorks and Microsoft’s Windows CE. I also learned about wireless technologies including HomeRF, 802.11b, and BlueTooth.

Responsible for educating students and University Faculty on Microsoft technologies including Windows CE, Windows 2000 and Microsoft Visual J++. Worked with several Oregon State University faculty members on the integration and use of Windows NT/2000 and Visual Studio into their curriculum along with a donation of 50+ computers to the Computer Science Department. Developed, organized, and arranged presentations on Windows 2000, Windows CE and Microsoft J++ at Oregon State University and was also a guest speaker at Brigham Young University.

Developed skills in Web development, Database design and Standard Software Engineering Methodologies. Focus was on Software Configuration Management (SCM) Tools and Software, including Microsoft Visual SourceSafe, and PVCS Version Manager. Developed Design and Software Architecture for web base Software Configuration Management Assessment Tool. Implemented and deployed web site with Microsoft SQL backend for the Configuration Management team, but adopted and deployed to entire organization, consisting of 11+ groups.
