I am a General Business major looking for any kind of internship to increase my experience. I have most recently worked at Sam's Club as a lot attendant. While working there, I learned very crucial skills. Some of the skills I learned include time management, quick and efficient decision-making, managing working space, and organizational skills. These skills have made me feel more confident about myself and getting a better grasp of the workforce. The other job that I held was as a line cook/dishwasher at The Melting Pot. As a line cook, I was giving a small number of duties but at a very high rate. I had to quickly divide my time to get the orders ready in time for the servers. I learned how to prep food, proper food safety procedures, and how to multitask. At the same establishment, I was a dishwasher. The only things that the position taught me were that I didn't want to be a dishwasher and the importance of working quickly.
