Responsible for Mission Assurance (Contract Assurance, Performance Assurance and Institutional Quality), security, and emergency response, for a national security laboratory consisting of 9,000 employees and an operating budget of $2.1B. Provides strategic leadership and direction in the execution and mission assurance of the operational and business functions in support of the laboratory’s science, technical and global security missions.Specifically lead a laboratory-wide mission assurance,security and emergency response program responsible for contractor and performance assurance, institutional quality, physical security, nuclear material control and accountability, vulnerability analysis,classified matter protection, personnel security, security systems, and emergency management response and planning. Responsible for the command and control of a 700+ organization with an annual operating budget exceeding $175 million.

Responsible for operations and staff planning for a 200 employee security force at a Nuclear Regulatory Commissioned Licensed Site. Specifically responsibilities included daily oversight of an armed protective force operation and training and ensuring supporting staff integration in meeting NRC prescribed policies and procedures. Program integration included ensuring Protective Force operations and training compliment NRC/DOE unit responsibilities. Responsible for managing an annual operating budget of $15M.

Responsible for staff integration and policy formulation of a 700 employee security division charged with nuclear security and safeguard operations. Operations included physical protection, protective force daily and contingency operations, information and cyber security, personnel security and nuclear control and accountability. Provided the staff lead and integration of an annual operating budget in excess of $125M.
