As a 3rd line engineer we are an escalation point for both the UK and International support teams.The day to day role is extremely diverse and varied, we interacted with a wide variety of products and platforms, such as, Oracle, MS SQL, IPSEC, Active MQ, Radius, CheckMK, Nagios, Cacti, Networking, VM's & Docker. Having to apply pro-active thinking and solutions to the problems at hand via log analysis and analytical troubleshooting. I / we play a crucial role in assisting & identifying the root cause in estate wide system outages and actively contributing to the resolve.We interact daily with various departments such as Dev, Architects, Netops, Techops, DBA's Devops, Problem Management, to identify and resolve a wide variety of product and platform issues. I also have built in house RHEL, My Sql, InfluxDB, VM's and Docker images that are used daily in the various support functions

The Operational support team were responsible to providing hardware support to the 150+ field service engineers that were facing issues with hardware and software on a virility of products from LBO terminals to casino Windows based Server's with RAID Array Failures. we were also the escalation point for the 1st line remote support teams.
