• Ensure coaches, athletic staff members, and student-athletes comply with NCAA, Patriot League, and institutional rules and regulations.• Provide interpretations of NCAA and Patriot League bylaws, policies and regulations to coaches, staff and student-athletes.• Monitor countable athletically related activity (CARA) hours to verify hour requirements are met both during playing and practice seasons and out of season for all 27 varsity athletic teams via ARMS software.• Monitor and approve all official and unofficial visit documentation, changes of student-athlete status, and outside financial aid paperwork.• Manage a $75,000 NCAA Student-Assistance Fund for 150 student-athletes to assist them with academic and athletic expenses.• Review complimentary ticket lists for student-athletes, coaches, and staff for football, wrestling, and men’s and women’s basketball contests.• Assist with self-reporting of secondary violations and various waivers in RSRO and oversee the Medical Hardship Waiver process.• Use University, NCAA and other athletic compliance web-based systems (i.e. Compliance Assistant, LSDBI, RSRO, and ARMS) to prepare reports and monitor records of student-athletes.• Manage the distribution, validation, and submission of National Letters of Intent. • Oversee Bucknell University’s Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) procedures, including creating, distributing, and presenting educational materials based on state policies, updating institutional policies based on state policy amendments, and arranging workshops through institutional faculty members that combine NIL information with career and networking-related information. • Manage the athletic tutoring program for all 27 varsity athletic programs. • Prepare compliance-related presentations for all 27 varsity athletic programs at the beginning of their season of competition, as well as monthly presentations for the Olympic sports staff on proposed and approved legislation and other informative topics.

• Engaged in a 12-week summer internship with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Company (HE&R) as the only acting in-house intern, working in conjunction with three Assistant Corporate Counsels and General Counsel Jane LaFranchi.• Worked on matters in hospitality, data privacy, post-COVID employment procedures and compliance, copyright and trademark application and regulation, contractual renewals and modifications, and general liability for Hershey Park, The Hotel Hershey, The Hershey Lodge, The Hershey Country Club, Houlihan’s Restaurant, Devon Seafood Restaurant, and the American Hockey League affiliate Hershey Bears. • Assisted in amending bylaws for the Hershey Country Club, the private golf membership affiliated with HE&R, regarding the institutionalization of criminal and credit background checks for applicants and current members. • Utilized research mediums such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to conduct a report on the interplay between the Internal Revenue Service and the Affordable Care Act to help HE&R decide when temporary employees hired from staffing agencies are to be considered common-law employees for purposes of medical benefits.
