As a Resident Assistant, I provided advising and served as a mentor to a residential hall of 450+ undergraduate students. Throughout my time I developed and implemented programs to strengthen the hall community. I served as an advisor for Hall Council as well as coordinator for Personal Development programs. I had many other administrative tasks as well as enforced and upheld university policies. I was a liaison between residents and Department of Residence Life. Over the three semesters, I had the opportunity to work together with a staff of nineteen people in order to develop a successful hall community. Situations that arose further developed my mediation and conflict resolution skills. I confronted and contributed to the resolve of issues on diversity, racism, alcohol, drug abuse, academic performance, and social acceptance.

I assisted and served customers courteously and efficiently throughout their experience; often under high volume, high-pressure situations. Primary objectives I purposed to sustain was always the highest level of customer appreciation and service in aspiration of customer retention. Skill-sets I further developed during employment: rapid assimilation of information, control of a multi-skill environment, development of customer relations, development in dispute resolution, teamwork, and customer service.

Throughout my employment, I received continuous, comprehensive training in methods and techniques of sales and marketing and applied them to my everyday interactions with guests. I handled the responsibilities of supervising a store of high-cost product. Throughout my employment, my skills in telecommunication and other business communication became exceptionally proficient. I had to always be flexible and maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks. I was responsible for maintaining the highest level of professionalism in regards to satisfaction and creating a lasting connection and return guests.
