"Where do you want to be in 5 years"Probably one of the simplest questions out there and yet sometimes one of the hardest to answer. For me it's less of a 'where' and more of a 'who'.I want to be better, I want to do better and I want to bring as many people up with me as I can.My career hasn't taken a particularly linear path, from chip shop manager, to bartender rolling into a data specialist role and from there a sideways leap into the realms of IT and testing as a data engineer, I've had my fair share of fresh starts. Those exciting first steps into something new, a challenge worth taking, and an experience worth having.It would be reasonable to look at my history and see indecision, a lost soul falling into roles with no plan for what comes next, but that is not me.I am a learner, I listen to the experiences of my colleagues and build upon my own understanding.I am a builder, I believe that by bettering my work I can better myself and the lives of those who work with me.I am a climber, I will learn what needs to be learned, I will build what needs to be built, and I won't stop until I've reached the peak of my potential.What I lack in specialization and certified training, I make up for in curiosity, energy and integrity.
