Managed daily operations, facility, and a development team of six when the training center opened. Prepared annual projection numbers for instructor-to-student ratios and courseware hours. Consolidated three master task lists into one which significantly reduced training time from two years to under 6 months, and overlapping areas of instruction. Supervised procurement of furniture, computer workstations, secure/ non-secure drop-lines, and installation of power generator. Developed a strategy to create a single training package encompassing all disciplines within a unit to save countless staff hours during the development phase.- Designed and developed a new Career Flight Instructor Course, including the syllabus, 27 lesson plans, and computer aids.- Established training regimen to assist 40 airmen maintain proficiency for forward deployment, reducing number of flights needed to qualify as Airborne Operators from 10 – 15 flights to 2 – 3. - Negotiated a $10 million contract that provided both courseware developers and classroom instructors, freeing active duty military to fulfill their combat roles.- Instituted Computer Based Training (CBT) application for emergency procedures, which became the benchmark for all future CBT course development.- Spearheaded $20K facility modifications to create two new classrooms.- Led installation of a $6 million ground training system to simulate scenarios students face onboard an aircraft, which reduced training program length from 24 months to six months.
