Quantum Communications Research Intern
Advancing the practical security of satellite quantum-key-distribution (QKD). π°οΈβοΈβ Conducted in-depth information leakage simulations and opto-mechanical device characterizations, employing advanced techniques to assess and enhance the end-to-end security of QEYnet's free-space QKD transmitter.β Developed a pointing, acquisition, and guiding system for static QKD links.β Compressed the error-correcting codes utilized in QKD post-processing, conserving satellite bandwidth and memory.β Managed a collaboration with an undergraduate software development team from the University of Toronto to build a telemetry monitoring and visualization solution specifically tailored for QKD satellite telemetry. An MScAC Applied Research Internship supervised by Prof. Li Qian and Dr. Jean-Philippe Bourgoin.
