I am a telecommunications specialist for the federal government. I assist agencies with meeting their communication needs and promote best practices in information technology. My focus is on developing and implementing strategies that enable effective use of voice, data, video, email, social media, and other communications technologies to improve agency operations.As a Telecommunications Specialist I work in departments and agencies across the federal government, including at military installations and national laboratories. Their roles can include providing telecommunications support to employees, maintaining telecom infrastructure, developing telecommunication policy, or conducting research on telecommunications issues.I have experience managing telecommunication projects for the NIH. My skills include project management, data analysis and presentation, communication strategy development and execution, team building/cooperation, as well as working within tight deadlines. In addition to my work at NIH laboratories, I am also experienced in contract management consulting with various telecommunications vendors.
