About Michael Lundy
I am a driven and dedicated professional with 20+ years of military service in the US Air Force. I strive for success in every task which I promote through well rounded communication and follow through. As an Aerospace Propulsion Craftsman for 15 years I was the go to experience in multiple locations across the world. I have been selected to lead countless maintenance actions with direct impact to the Air Force mission. Utilizing engine operation, borescope, and blade blend skills on 3 airframes I was able to deploy in support of various operations. As an uninstalled engine operation certifier I was responsible for creating and maintaining master training plans and plans of instruction for all engine test cell operations. I have been trained as an instructor and a unit (squadron & group) Resource Advisor. As a Resource Advisor I worked side by side with unit commanders and group commanders in budgeting DoD funds and executing spend plans. I was also responsible for 25 individual government purchase cardholders and maintained their use of appropriated funds. My attention to detail and maintenance experience led to being selected as the Chief Inspector of Quality Assurance while stationed in the United Kingdom. Overall responsibilities involved tracking, updating, and reporting aircraft maintenance trends and analysis matrixes. Briefing and presenting data to leadership of all levels was done on a weekly to monthly basis to include speaking and visual presentation’s. I was also responsible for all Quality Assurance inspectors in my work center to include the handling of scheduling, personal leave and appointments, deployments, and inspection guidance's. As a Section Chief in one of the busiest Maintenance Flights I lead and oversee maintenance processes for 160 personnel. I create schedules, process leaves, scheduled training, appointments, and ensure discipline, standards and guidelines are adhered to.
