As the Artistic Director of a comedy theater in New York City, I wear a lot of hats. I am responsible for creating and overseeing the theater's programming schedule, which requires managing the schedules (and personalities!) of over 300 performers. I am in charge of casting the theater's house teams and providing critical feedback to each show. I also act as the public face of the theater, and handle press inquiries and draft releases. In addition to these administrative duties, I'm an instructor at the Magnet Training Center. Since 2011, I've taught improv comedy classes as well as musical improv classes and had the pleasure of instructing over 2,000 students. I've been lucky to travel the country doing communication and team-building workshops for corporations such as Morgan Stanley and IBM.Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Magnet has pivoted to online workshops and shows. I continue to oversee our virtual stage and also teach virtual improv workshops!
