Role included:Oversee all management, sales, marketing and operations of the business.Recruitment and management of sales, design and accounts staff. Management of 20+ contractors & staff. Established a nationwide service with a wide customer base including leading Blue Chip companies and Advertising agencies.

Reporting directly to the MD of The Darcy Group: a manufacturer of household consumer products sold through the major UK Grocery & DIY Multiples. Annual turnover of c£18mRole included multi-million pound negotiations for the award of contracts with all the major DIY and Grocery retailers. Ongoing relationship management, carrying out efficient, effective Account Management to ensure sales and profit growth. Creating and implementing Business Development strategies with the UK’s major retailers (including B&Q, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Homebase Morrisons, Wickes, Wilkinsons Lidl, Boots).Managed National Account, Key Account and Internal Sales teams. Key member of senior management team producing annual budgets, forecasts, business plans, range reviews and monthly board reports. Lead New Product Development team. Internal profit maximisation and cost control reviews generating significant incremental profit.
