Worked 1 year with the innovation sector to formulate methods to measure safety for the Dutch National Police.- Designed a formula to measure the effect of police interventions on safety through the creation of a Dutch crime-harm index (CHI), quality-adjusted life year (QALY) utility function, and central bureau of statistics data.- Conducted a thesis study on a representative sample of 1547 participants in the Netherlands to determine how victim factors of income, geography, previous victimization, and the financial amount stolen in theft correlate with a victim’s reporting threshold, desired outcome after reporting theft, and perceived severity of theft.

- Publicly elected as External Relations Commissioner and Management of Technology Co-Commissioner to represent faculty and program student interests at the central student council.

- Served as the only international student and 1st year master’s student on the board of studies, representing the study interests of the entire faculty (approximately 1000 students).- Advised on admission criteria for Non-EU applicants to the Management of Technology program.

- Helped design (using SolidWorks) a gantry assembly to function as a fully autonomous 10x10 foot sewing machine. - Skeletonized parts of the gantry assembly using external load studies in SolidWorks to reduce weight and cost. - Incorporated external subassemblies, such as motors and rails, in order to reduce manufacturing costs for mass production.- Programmed and adjusted components of a virtual autonomous ground vehicle in order to better represent system in similar physical settings. - Adjusted parameters in ROS for simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) to produce denser localization hypotheses. Transferred these parameters to the physical system. - Programmed (Python) Ackermann steering geometry in the simulation in order to minimize slipping of the ground robot wheels. - Assisted in image labeling of objects of interest for computer vision based deep learning. - Created simplified SolidWorks models of the ground robot and objects of interest for use in the virtual environment.
