Responsibilities include processing and organizing GIS dataset, digitizing and editing parcel datasets, conducting change detection analysis, processing of sensitive data, geo-referencing aerial imagery, performing an analytic studies with the aerial imagery, research new analytic methods using the ArcGIS suite, and processing and preparing raster data sets.

Responsibilities include formatting and querying dataset using MS Excel and MS Access for use by campus faculty and various campus departments, acting as the department's Geographic Information Systems Analyst, creating a set of maps displaying the distribution of CSU Stanislaus students within the entire state of California, but mainly focusing within the Central Valley, and developing another set of maps for students distribution within the cities of Turlock and Denair.

Responsibilities included conducting a group research project on the Central Sierra Watershed by leveraging publicly available data and ArcView. Data sources included Digital Elevation Models from USGS EarthExplorer, NRCS soil data, DWR Land Cover and Land Use data, and geologic data from the USGS. The ultimate goal of the project was to develop a atlas and a geodatabase, which could be used to conduct further research on the Central Sierra Watershed.
