Responsible for managing and developing twenty-one employees, who have the responsibility of the management and surveillance for the North Warning System (NWS) equipment in a 7x24 environment, technical support for the Facilities based equipment, scheduling of the preventive maintenance program, data verification and closing of work orders within the Maximo® work management system. Responsibilities include; managing the day-to-day tasks of the department, liaison with both the CFB 22 Wing and the government North Warning System Office (NWSO), and managing regular monthly and quarterly technical reports to internal and external clients.

Responsible for managing and developing 27 employees, who have the responsibility of the management and surveillance for the North Warning System (NWS) equipment in a 7x24 environment, technical support and training for the Communications & Electronics equipment, scheduling of the preventive maintenance program, data verification and closing of work orders within the Maximo® work management system. Responsibilities include; managing the day-to-day tasks of the department, liaison with both the CFB 22 Wing and the government North Warning System Office (NWSO), establishing and managing a department budget and managing regular monthly and quarterly technical reports to internal and external clients.

Responsible for managing and developing 8 employees, who had the responsibility of the ongoing software / firmware maintenance of five diverse management systems. Responsibilities included; managing the day-to-day tasks of the department and project management of the various projects including the replacement of a SCADA system.

Responsible for a team of 5 Design Specialist and 10 Installation Technicians for the relocation a North Warning System Control Centre (NWSCC) and network operations communications equipment from an underground complex to a new above ground complex while maintaining a continuous 7x24 Operations environment. Responsible for managing and developing 6 employees, who had the responsibility of the management and surveillance for the entire Gateway network equipment in a 7x24 environment. Responsibilities included; establishing a new department including processes, procedures, resources, and training, managing the day-to-day tasks of the department, establishing and managing a department budget. Additional duties included investigating carrier billing, providing cost modeling support for new product initiatives and initiating cost cutting measures.

Responsible for managing and developing 14 employees who had the responsibility of 2nd/3rd level advanced technical support and fault management for Sprint Canada's network equipment. Responsibilities included; establishing a new department including processes, procedures, resources, and training, managing the day-to-day tasks of the department, establishing and managing a department budget, establishing Disaster Recovery Procedures and establishing Service Level Agreements with various Telecommunications carriers.

Responsible for managing and developing 10 employees who had the responsibility of four key network operations support requirements including change management, operational support system application administration, service level agreements and network performance reporting. Responsibilities included; establishing a new department including processes, procedures, resources, and training, managing the day-to-day tasks of the department, establishing and managing a department budget, managing carriers and implementing an advanced monitoring system.

Responsible for managing and developing 11 employees who had the responsibility of management and surveillance for the entire Sprint Canada network equipment in a 7x24 shift environment. Responsibilities included; managing the day-to-day tasks of the department, establishing and managing a department budget, establishing a new 3000 square foot NMC, creating a new Voice Service Centre and developing network operating procedures.
