I have been an Assoc. Program Director (APD) of the General Surgery Residency Program, Director for the intern curriculum, and prior Chair of the Surgery Clinical Competency Committee. I have performed multiple global health surgical missions across three continents since 2011. I completed a Masters of Education (MEHP) through Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Recently finished my term as MCW Curriculum and Evaluation (CEC)Committee Chair as we start new 3 and 4 year medical school curriculums. I have membership in the Society of Teaching Scholars as the Society Director and associate membership in the American College of Surgeons Academy of Master Surgeon Educators. I am an Associate Professor of Surgery within the Division of Vascular Surgery. I have completed a Fulbright Grant through The Fulbright Program and US State Department, and serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Fulbright Association out of Washington, DC.
