Currently, I perform technical service, manage the Western US wood fiber sales department and support our chemical production plants in the Western US. I engage a plethura of tasks in the management side from bugdets, allocation of resources, and input on which chemistries we should use for each customer. I work predominantly with UF resins, but also in MF, MUF and PF resins for particleboard and MDF. I get to work on the development, production, field trials and optimization of our resin products for our customers. I also perform tech support in the particleboard/MDF plants. This includes optimizing press cycles, observing the process for improvements, statistical analysis of process variables and their effects on key properties.

Worked in lab doing solid wood tests on cabinetry, furniture and components. Spent time in wood products mills collecting and analyzing temperature and RH effects on process.

I was in infantry units, specifically weapons, at Camp Pendleton, California. I performed duties as a fire team member, leader and section leader during that time.
