Worked with Dr. Craig Story on production of mouse monoclonal antibodies against HRP2, a protein that appears in the malaria life cycle. Relevant skills include protein purification, work with live animals, sterile cell culture hood, Western blotting, gel electrophoresis, and thorough knowledge of immune system functions. Procedure required used of microengraving, a tool produced by Dr. Story with Dr. Christopher Love at MIT. Presented a poster on optimization of this tool at Gordon College's undergraduate research symposium in May 2014.
