Work along side project managers to learn about the construction process. Dive deeper into construction management roles as internship progresses. Meet with crews, designers, and safety representatives to learn as much as possible.

• Install/build fiber optic pedestals/vaults • Operate mini excavator, lead plow cat, plow cat, quad plow, skid steer, backhoe, vac trailer • Spin reel, spot cables, clear right of ways for plow train • Everyday maintenance on equipment (grease, fuel, and minor repair) • Splice secondary power cables • Figure eight and wrap fiber optic cables • CMV certified(April 2019 – August 2019) (April 2020- August 2020)

• Developed expertise in circuitry, wiring, conduit bending, install ductwork, gas lines, and installing other electrical devices • Operate bucket truck, trencher, backhoe, skid steer, scissor lift, and fork lift • Locate periodic faults in underground feeder cables • Make service calls without supervision • Cultivate excellent relationships with clients
