CurrentAs a Vibration Specialist for Chevron Phillips, I am responsible for the daily reliability of rotating equipment in the Ethylene and Polyethylene units, as well as managing the site’s lubrication program. ● Assist and train Operations personnel on the use of vibration monitoring equipment.● Track and report to the management team all vibration-related issues.● Develop and manage lubrication program, including lubrication standards, sample results analysis, lubrication training, and Champion/Supervise Reladyne Lubrication contractors.● Work with Operations and Maintenance to manage the plant's critical rotating spares.● Support Operations with startup and troubleshooting on rotating equipment.● Manage and maintain various platforms, SKF @ptitude, Bently System 1 (Classic and Evolution), Bently 3500 Configuration, and Prognost Predictor. Extended Duties include supporting planned and non-planned outages. Currently I am responsible for developing, planning, and executing High Velocity Oil flushes, and Chemical cleaning during Turnarounds. This includes supervising contractors and coordinating work with different craft personnel. In addition, as needed I am tasked to preform QC inspections in contractor shops on major mechanical repairs, and work with our vendor shops to determine appropriate repair scopes.
