- Commands missions and instructed pilots on tactical airlift including instrument procedures, low-level VFR flight, VIP protocol, and international relations.- Provides Squadron Commander with high-level support facilitating effective communication between higher leadership levels and military members. Oversees quality control of all performance reports, promotion recommendations, awards, and decorations.

- Commands missions in the Far East and seasoned young co-pilots in VIP protocol, international relations, instrument procedures, and low-level flying.- Implements the US Air Force Flight and Ground Safety program for the squadron commander. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Conducts mishap investigations as required.- Coordinates all squadron missions and ensures the best mission/crew match.
