As a Graduate Research Assistant at Colorado State University, I apply my skills and knowledge in Python, machine learning, and bioengineering to develop automated microscopy tools for biological research. I have been working on this project for over six years, and I have recently completed my PhD in bioengineering.My passion is to use computational and experimental methods to understand and control complex biological systems. I have developed theoretical models to enable sophisticated control of gene regulation networks using optogenetic controllers, and I have used stochastic models for live cell fluorescence microscopy. I have also presented my findings at several conferences and I published in peer reviewed journals. I am always eager to learn new techniques and collaborate with other researchers in this exciting and interdisciplinary field.
