Daltech's aim was provide innovative engineering solutions that reduce operating costs, improve efficiency and maximize safety in any manufacturing process through the use of cutting edge programmable technology and innovative engineering.Expertise in Automation and Engineering allowed Daltech to design and build turnkey systems for clients or add new functionality to existing equipment, all the while providing a vast range of Engineering services such as Mechanical and Electrical design along with Custom Software development.Daltech had the ability to Design, Fabrication, Assemble, Test, Document and provide Certification, which all takes place at a purpose built facility.With a broad range of Engineering experience, Daltech brought a high level of creative thinking to all projects and attention to detail to take projects to completion successfully was always at the fore.Clients included Boston Scientific, ABB, GE Energy, Becton Dickinson, Warner Chilcott. Hanley Energy and many more.During my time at Daltech, while holding the position as an automation engineer, my role would have included design, testing and commissioning duties. Due to the wide variety of projects taken on, this included a wide spectrum of tasks such as mechanical design using Solidworks, Programming of PLCs, design of HMI applications, design of pneumatic systems and building of documentation handover packages etc. It also included commissioning of systems on site along with SAT testing with the customer to ensure all aspects of the project was acceptable and met the customer requirements.I finished up with Daltech in April of 2017 as Daltech was acquired by Hanley Energy and the 2 companies merged under the Hanley Energy name.

C&D foods first started producing pet food in its cannery facility in 1969. It originated in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and was founded by local man Albert Reynolds. Later the ALU-tray facility was built as an expansion to the Edgeworthstown site. Unfortunately in 2006, The existing cannery was subject to a devastating fire destroying most of the cannery. Since the fire, a new pouch plant facility was erected in its place. Currently the Edgeworthstown site is 1 of 11 production or sales sites owned by the C&D group as through huge investment the C&D group including sites in Holland, Denmark, Spain, UK and Austria. In 2008, Philip Reynolds, son of Albert became strategic partners with Larry Goodman and his ABP Group. In 2013, C&D foods expanded its edgeworthstown pouch plant by installing an additional 2 production lines and a new packing facility on its site.In 2014 I started working with C&D foods on a permanent basis after completing 6 months work placement with them during my time in DCU. Build-A-Bear Workshop (BABW) was founded in 1997 as a teddy-bear themed retail-entertainment experience. Its first store opened in Saint Louis Galleria in St. Louis, Missouri. Since then it has expanded and now has over 400 stores worldwide. It was founded by Maxine Clark after an idea that came upon her at the young age of 10. Maxine and a friend as children were looking for a simple teddy but could not be found in any of the stores nearby. Her friend came up with the idea of making the desired teddy with the intentions of trying to make it as a craft project at home. Maxine seen this as a much larger opportunity and this is how BABW came about. Now there is thought to be approximately 125 millions BABW teddies accross the globe.In the summer of 2014 I took part in a J1 cultural exchange project in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. During my time there, I worked as a part time worker in BABW. In BABW I was a store assistant with continuous customer interaction and aiding the satisfaction of their BABW experience. Mechatronic Engineering Graduate with a 2:1 honours Degree

Aurthur Mallon Foods is a Sausage factory located on the outskirts of Monaghan town. During my time working there the factory had seen some expansion to allow for the increase in production to allow big name brands to be produced. During my time in Mallons they produced for big supermarkets such as SuperValue and Dunnes Stores along with many other brands of sausage such as Clonakilty of Cork Sausages. Mallons also own a cook room facility on the same site to produce pre-cooked foods for catering customers.During my time in Mallon's I started out working on the production line. Primarily my tasks included packing finished products into boxes and ensuring the boxes were clearly labeled to indicate which product was packed inside. Other tasks included setting up labeling machines, weighing-up sausages, recording batch numbers and undergoing metal detector checks. When returning to college I was able to continue working there as a Saturday job. While working in this role I was responsible for the cleaning of the fridges in the intake area of the factory. I was also responsible for accepting, receiving and storing fresh meat being delivered to the factory at the weekend. I also washed the delivery vans which were owned by A. Mallon foods. The four seasons hotel Monaghan has been in buisness for over 20 years. Since it first opened it has exteneded the premises for additional function rooms, a leisure club and a night club. In the past the night club has also been known as both Lotus one and Mexx nightclub. At present the nightclub has approximately 25 staff between floor and bar staff. Its capacity is around 1000 people.I started working there in November of 2010 just after the nightclub had relaunched. I started as a member of floor staff and then moved to the bar after I became 18 and gained more experience in the nightclub industry. This was a weekend job for me during my 1st and 2nd year of studies in Dublin City University. Spar Monaghan is an established small supermarket in Monaghan town. It was owned and run by the sloane family. In the recent years after the shop completed a major renovation it celebrated its 50 year anniversay. Since then the Shop is now ran by J&S Glennon. I worked under both management during my time in spar. I started working in Spar after I completed my junior cert in St. Macartan's college. Texaco Monaghan is a Service station located in the centre of Monaghan town run by Sean and Joe Connolly. They opened up a service station on the same premises where they use to run a successful Nissan dealership. After years of hard work the connolly's had established a good family name and had created a busy business for themselves. During my time there, there was around 10 part time staff employed their between shop and fourcourt assistants.I started work here as a weekend job in 2005 during my 2nd year in St Macartan's college. I worked here up until the January 2007.
