My current position is Technical Operator / Colour Pipeline Assistant at The Mill, which is a global creative & production partner for agencies, production companies & brands,working across all media channels & platforms. We are world-renowned specialists in visual effects,creative production & immersive experiences. We are home to the world’s best Colourists who create unforgettable visual narratives through the powerful art of colour.I work in the Technical Operations and Colour Datalab Department, which is such a fulfilling role. I get to work with amazing producers/artists and clients such as Rolex, Apple, Samsung, o2 and so many more. I have enjoyed the process of training in new areas from when I first started, to now becoming a experienced member of the team. My role encompasses:As a Colour Pipeline Assistant my role is to conform all material and preparing edls for our Colour Grading artists. Quality control, Encoding and transcoding files according to various broadcast and online formats,Producing output in line with specific film, and tv technical standardWorking closely with our technical teams, producers and our clients.I have advanced knowledge of Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premeire Pro, Media Encoder and Audition.Extensive knowledge of video file formats, encoding, transcoding.I have a very strong work ethic and strive to always do my best.I am a good communicator and believe I have the ability to make people feel comfortable around me.Gaining knowledge is great, as I use this to strengthen my work practices.Being part of the team and training fellow staff members gives me a great sense of pride.I completed my Masters degree in Editing and Post Production, which helped me get my dream job. Previously I have undertaken work experience in various Post Production facilities in London including: BBC News, Locomotion, Molinare and ITN Consultants. During my work experience I was given the task of editing three News packages for the BBC, which were successfully aired on TV.I digitized corporate videos for ITN.
