CurrentDeveloped a comprehensive reporting platform, using Django and JavasScript, that enables the client’s teams to capture essential field data, including staff hours and site activities. This system is integrated with the Willy Weather API to automatically retrieve weather updates and utilizes cron jobs for scheduling tasks. It interfaces with the Google Drive API for robust data management capabilities and leverages custom JavaScript mapping technology for nuanced data presentation.The data visualization component is powered by ReportLab, generating detailed PDFs, charts, and tables to serve the informational needs of the client and their customers. Ensuring seamless operation and access, the system is deployed on Heroku and safeguarded by a suite of unit, integration, and performance tests.The development workflow is anchored in a Docker-based local environment and version controlled with GIT. I was also responsible for architecting the underlying Django ORM (PostgreSQL) database schema.Beyond the reporting system, I have architected and implemented several ancillary platforms, including a rostering system, payroll management interfacing with the Xero API, a document management system utilizing the Google Drive API for both staff and management, as well as a comprehensive timesheet system.
