I work closely with the owners to ensure the company is on an upward trajectory.As Covid-19 hit, my role was instrumental in helping the company navigate through the pandemic. Key responsibilities include:- Ensuring the company maintains a consistent trajectory of growth while avoiding obstacles that arise from the current constantly shifting market- Monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for share holders.- Transform analytical insights into concrete business recommendations and support the implementation of these recommendations - Analyse historical results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements- Preparation of monthly financial reports with commentaries to Senior Management and shareholders- Preparation of budget and consolidation of all departmental budgets- Drive the company’s financial and cash planning, preparation of cash flow forecasts, and producing cash position daily- Implement and maintain adequate system of financial controls.- Manage vendor relationships.- Running the procurement department for Seven Media - Providing Commercial support on new business tenders across the business

This was a varied consultancy role which included getting involved in various business tasks, from reviewing all company processes, writing business proposals to approving contracts, to developing marketing strategies and building budgets.Key responsibilities included: - Completing a 360 performance review of the company - Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals- Ensuring the company had the adequate and necessary resources to complete its activities- Developing new business processes to improve efficiency - Bidding on new contracts and negotiating on contract terms - Managing both internal resources and contractors - Continuously monitoring priority KPI’s including revenue and growth - Accountability for business performance This consultancy role ended and I was offered a new role as Commercial Director with the Group holding company.

Co-founder of OhhSocial; a simple to use smart phone app offering exclusive local offers from leading businesses throughout Northern Ireland across four key sectors; Wine & Dine, Kids Activities, Leisure & Attractions and Health & Beauty.I was involved in every aspect of the business from concept design, app development, marketing and sales.Key responsibilities included: - Developed OhhSocial, a simple to use smart phone app offering exclusive offers to help boost sales for local companies - Directing the business, my role included the day to day running of the business and driving forward the business' success- My main responsibilities being the management of staff and the ongoing growth of the concept and App sales via social media and digital management.- Prepare and execute commercial strategies according to company objectives to enhance growth- Carry out market research and analysis to form detailed business tactics on commercial opportunities (e.g., business development, expansion, etc.)- Attract new customers and manage client relationships with new as well as existing clients- Build and retain profitable partnerships with sponsor- Work together and coordinate the different teams (sales, marketing, customer service, etc.)Building the business and concept from scratch and seeing it all the way through to the finished product was a terrific learning curve. Along with the help of my team, we achieved industry success exceeding targets through growing sales. The ability to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional standards of customer service was key to this success.The business was sold in December 2018.
