With over 48 years of work experience in operations, logistics, and supply chain management, I have developed core competencies in P&L accountability, strategic development, and lean methodologies. I have a master's degree in logistics and supply chain from Rochester Institute of Technology, and I am skilled in accounting and finance. I am currently looking for new opportunities to leverage my expertise and experience in the logistics and transportation industry, and to join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and diversity.Most recently, I was the Vice President Operations at Day & Ross USA, Inc, where I managed yield improvements across all divisions, including dry bulk tanker, oil and asphalt tanker, dry van truckload, and warehousing. I successfully recovered the oil and gas support company from the oil slowdown and the Covid-19 pandemic, by implementing strategic initiatives, streamlining processes, and reducing costs. I also owned and operated a small warehouse and local trucking company for over a year, where I gained hands-on experience in running a business. Prior to that, I was the General Manager of Operations, Freight, and Supply Chain at UPS, where I oversaw operations and sales for the metro NY suburban market, and delivered consistent growth and customer satisfaction.
