Responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate, foundation, and government grant-making entities and managing a portfolio of donors and prospects whose grant making interests are in alignment with Mercy Center's mission and priorities, and support the overall fundraising strategy.

Served as primary contact for grant seeking organizations, lead grants management administrator, and MicroEdge Gifts database administrator. Also managed the activities of selected JCEF supporting foundations and endowment funds, including grantmaking, governance, and record-keeping, as well as processing, acknowledging, and tracking of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and cash gifts.

Identified and evaluated various government, foundation and corporate grant opportunities through use of the Foundation Center’s online database and other online search tools; successfully wrote several proposals for cash grants and other awards; maintained database on past and potential funders; mailed acknowledgements, reports and other grant-related documents as needed. Researched and analyzed government and corporate RFP’s to determine likely funding sources for agency job-training program.
