Served as Project Engineer for a $32MM capital project to extend the life of 20,000 linear feet of existing water distribution piping at Dow’s Freeport sites. Lead the Front End Loading team to development an estimate with industry partners providing budgetary quotes as the primary basis for the estimate. This was due to the unique nature of the project not having historic data from which to base an estimate. I developed the project’s execution plan, contracting strategy, risk management plan and also served as the Piping Discipline Lead and Engineer. I developed the bid package, issued materials orders and final construction contracts. I also served as Engineering support to the Construction Manager.
