I have worked in Catholic ministry/education for over 14 years now. After receiving my degree from the Catholic University of America, I taught for a year and a half in two different Catholic high schools, St. Joseph's Preparatory in Philadelphia and St. Mary's Ryken in Leonardtown, MD. I discerned a call to ministry in parishes and have been the director of youth ministry at St. Patrick Church in Rockville, MD since 2010.I have 13+ years of parish programming experience, planning and running catechetical programs for children ages 12-18, designing and implementing weekend long retreats for high school teens, leading small groups and Bible studies. In 2016, my wife and I co-founded and operate to this day, the Rockville Catholic Summer Program (www.rockvillecatholicsummer.com). This 7 week summer camp program has had 7 successful camp seasons, serving 250 children per week and employing 55+ high school and college age young adults. In my time as camp director, I have maintained and supervised large staffs, problem solved with parents and developed the ability to think on my feet, as well as flexibly adjust to sudden issues and changes.This camp program has been financially successful, generating profits in the tens of thousands for our parish.
