I have been in television for twenty years now, and went from general production work, to shooting, to editing. Now my role has expanded to sometimes include co-producing projects that I edit. I enjoy being a part of the story development and helping define a unique visual style for each piece. I enjoy being in the field to assist on interviews and b-roll. I also enjoy working with composers, graphic artists and a team of editors to finalize the story.Once in a while, I still get to do a little shooting on a story, which I love the opportunity to do. I have shot XDCAM in SD and HD, HDCAM, EX, Beta and DV as well as 16mm film for network specials and documentaries.Recently I've tried to broaden my knowledge by bringing more graphics and color correction to my projects.I have worked on three documentaries, two of which made it to the Tribeca Film Festival.
