Technical lead of an Agile Scrum team developing software for Experian's 'Experian One' SaaS solution, a world-leading decision management software suite. The team is integrated within a culturally diverse global software group and the role involves designing and producing software features and the way in which they are built, tested, deployed and consumed by clients, ensuring the software is stable, secure, and performs as standard. Primary Responsibilities:• Facilitating and contributing to story evolution from conversation starters through to Definition of Done implementations.• Engaging with the wider global group to ensure programme-level functional quality, performance and supportability.• Explaining complex solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.• Developing system specifications for existing and new modules in co-ordination with group technical architects.• Developing new/enhancing existing modules in line with the current/evolving product architecture.• Developing and executing comprehensive unit, component, and integration testing on the modules.• Analysing and fixing software errors.• Maintaining and improving existing system documentation.• Active participation in Scrum rituals, with an emphasis on iterative improvement and shared team goals.• Promotion of best practice development within the team. • Contributing to the development model, challenging and improving existing processes. • Actively reviewing work of other team members in a whole team approach to development, testing and deployment.• Self-managing to plan and organise time so that committed work is completed to DoD. • Suppporting and knowledge sharing with junior team members in feature delivery.
