M.W. “Mike” Menser has over 40 years experience training and leading Soldiers—as a regular Army officer and defense industry contractor. He brings broad leadership experience and personal/professional contacts within Department of the Army and numerous defense industry companies. Skilled in project and personnel management, organizational problem solving, training and combat developments, he has served as Senior/Special Advisor to several high level military and civil government commands (MFO, USSOUTHCOM, NATO). After retiring from the U.S. Army in Columbus, Georgia, Menser joined Omega Training Group, Inc., serving as Training Developer, Training Analyst, Program Manager and, ultimately, Director of Business Development. He participated in the Army’s initial Land Warrior concept development, testing, doctrinal update and prototype training development and execution, served as a Project Manager on Raytheon’s Small Unit Operations Situational Awareness System (SUO SAS) program and as Training Analyst for Gunnery and Maneuver Exercise System (GAMER), Advanced Fire Support Systems, and Engagement Skills Trainer (EST 2000) programs. In his years as Director of Business Development, Omega grew from less than 20 employees to 800.
