Developing and maintaining a suite of API calls and device drivers for customers to interface to various VersaLogic Single Board Computers (SBCs) and expansion products. The API suite is architecture (x86, ARM) and OS (Linux, Windows, VxWorks) agnostic, helping new customers adopt VersaLogic boards as well as existing customers to migrate/move between VersaLogic boards with a minimum of new SW development. Device drivers are for various flavors of Windows and Linux. Knowledge of various embedded data bus protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, etc. have helped me develop solid API's and device drivers on-time and schedule. And yes, still having fun!

Leading a diverse team of engineers and technicians to design, develop, verify, deploy and maintain VersaLogic's Functional Test and Customer Software offerings. I built the team from ground-up, now having three senior engineers and one technician, and we are still growing. Coordinating with a variety of teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Hardware Engineering to help ensure that VersaLogic can ship quality product as scheduled. Products are developed across multiple computer architectures running various flavors of Linux and Windows. Helping to drive VersaLogic's NPI development processes from Waterfall to Agile methodology. I love to question the statement "That's how it has always been done in the past" and look for continuous improvement opportunities. Having fun!
