In this role I was responsible for client relations which included increasing the footprint within client firms, training on the Ballista ATS system, and interaction directly with end users to determine new functionality requests. Additionally the role would have required attendance at industry conferences and display the Ballista ATS system to prospective clientele. Due to a restructuring of the firm the position of Account Manager was eliminated.

Presently I have taken on the role as an agency execution trader to alleviate a temporary shortfall of personnel in the firm. All orders are entered using Fidessa OMS and directed to the appropriate routing (i.e., ecn's, algo or dark pools) determined by the clients' instructions. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to relaying the firms' research and accepting client orders to enter into Fidessa.

I was trading equities and ETF's for my own account through the EchoTrade proprietary execution system.

Sales Trader

In my role as an institutional sales trader I was able to build the firms client base by both using the firms' research and self generated ideas (generated by technical analysis and equity options strategies). I utilized various electronic order entry systems which accessed conventional markets and dark pools to achieve maximum execution benefit for clients. I have traded on both equity and options platforms either electronically (Mixit for equities and WEX for options) or traditionally via trading floors.

specializing in options trading with a focus on event driven situations. My client base was a combination of long standing relationships and new accounts from cold calling. Special situations and event driven research were generated via an outside analyst. Self generated ideas come from the utilization of equity options wrapped around either the given research or a technical analysis of a given situation.All customer orders are executed by myself on the WEX Trading Platform (Wolverine Trading Inc.) and ISE Options platform.

I was one of eight sales/traders. We have specialized in risk arbitrage and special situations. In the past few years we have refocused ourselves into an independent research firm specializing in retail, media, medical devices, special situations, risk arbitrage, pharmaceuticals, airlines and semiconductors. I have actively worked customer orders using electronic systems such as, Instinet, Bloomberg Tradebook, WEX (options) and HEAT © Trading (options). Additionally I presented a technical analysis outlook on stocks covered in our universe to my peers on a weekly basis.

Taking on a different role this encompassed dealing with member firms and end users. My function was to promote the Exchange to the traders/"gate-keepers" of member firms; also to act as a liaison between upstairs traders and specialists/market makers of the trading floor. During this time the Amex successfully launched the SPDR & DIA ETF's. Also at this time I was registered with ALPS Mutual Funds to promote the products at seminars, conferences both nationally and internationally.

Buy side equity and derivatives trader.

After leaving Kidder I took on the role of trader for Kimmelman & Co. which was a small hedge fund (five persons) with approximately $50 million in assets. I was in charge of entering and or executing all orders by either electronic means or direct access to all trading floors including foreign markets or when needed, using member firms. I would utilize member firms when the need arose to pay for research or capital was needed and maintained relationships with the traders.We were quite diversified with interests in small-cap stocks in the medical, telecom, technology and gold and silver markets. Additionally we would short big cap stocks either through equity positions or put options.

Head of Institutional Equity Options Trading

Institutional Options TradingI began working as a reverse/converter trader again taking advantage of options mis-pricing. After one year I began facilitating customer options orders. By 1985 I was Head Trader in charge of customer facilitation. Additionally I spent three years; as a floor broker for Kidder on the American Stock Exchange. After that period I was requested to return upstairs to assume the position of Head Options trader for Institutional Clients. I left before the demise of Kidder, Peabody.A.G. Becker & Co.
