CurrentSafety and Occupational Health Specialist, responsible for the following duties:•Plans, organizes, administers and evaluates a program involving diverse safety and occupational health responsibilities•Establishes safety goals and objectives and carries out program requirements in close cooperation with unit supervisors and managers•Develops and revises safety and occupational health instructions, rules and regulations•Develops and conducts a comprehensive safety education program•Provides safety advisory services- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) agency. DLA provides worldwide logistics support for the missions of the Military Departments and the Unified Combatant Commands under conditions of peace and war. It also provides logistics support to other DoD Components and certain Federal agencies, foreign governments, international organizations, and others as authorized.
