Bush Board manufactures worktops for kitchen and bathroom. I worked within their CRM team. My Role included sales, data entry, support for independent retailers & technical support for the product. Most of this work was carried out on the phone along with the occasional in person meetings for those customers who wanted a closer and more personal look at the product.

Responsibilities included general running of the store, leading a team of 8 and supporting the Store manager and Area ManagerWorking daily to reach weekly quotas and encouraging staff to reach their goals by maintaining a good work ethic. Required sales aptitude and heavy customer focus along with a drive to keep the store as one of the best in the area.

My role within Yusen started out as a customer service and delivery liaison. Responsibilities included: Over the phone customer support • Handling complaints • Organising delivery times as well as handling any technical customer requests)After two months in this role my managers began to recognise my aptitude and gave me further responsibilities:Creating data spreadsheets • Sending me to London to assist with business during a company movement • Generally allowing me to implement my own ideas and strategies which led to an excellent increase in efficiency in some areasFinally, I was given the opportunity to become a team leader. I thrived in this position and was trained on many fronts:Led a team of 4 to 5 people • Handled payroll • Member disputes • Creating/ handling rotas • In & out distribution within strict time-frames • Security for high value deliveries and handling sensitive information • Reporting to my supervisor.
