Founded and operated Jones & Mitchell Sportswear for 30 years and became part of the ownership team at Augusta Sportswear when J&M was acquired. Retired from Jones & Mitchell, and went to work With Global Orphan Project to help found GOEX - creating redemptive employment in Haiti through apparel sales and manufacturing. After 4 years at Go Project, spun off the team uniform manufacturing business from GOEX, and founded Restoration Apparel (RestoAthletic.com) with son and CEO Michael John (MJ) - building that business now for 6 years. In late 2022 founded Resto Display and purchased the assets of Insight Print and Display including the brand Half Price Banners - also in KCResto exist to Bless Workers and their families with Restorative Employment. They own and operate factories in the Dominican Republic, Egypt and Kansas City, and employ a staff of 65 in the Philippines. Resto companies are headquartered in downtown Kansas City, MO.
