Profile bio

About Michael Mobley

With experience in the areas of personnel management, instructional design, knowledge management, and change management, my greatest satisfaction comes when I am able to help develop and enhance an individual's potential. My ideal would be for companies to combine their instructional design, training, communication, and knowledge management fields in order to provide a consistent and reliable experience for employees from the day they begin employment to the mastery of their responsibilities. I enjoy bringing departments, teams, stakeholders, and other employees together in order to make such things happen. For example, my team and I brought six departmental markets together to support and participate in launch of new knowledge management tool. Later, I joined this unified group with other departments to launch a newer knowledge management tool (Oracle Knowledge Management) to be used throughout the corporation. I also love to help people learn. In two different companies, I was able to lead the development of new hire courses to standardize the learning environment across the companies as well as contribute to others. I enjoy learning from those who do the actual jobs to find out how I can better support the learning experience. I also love being a people manager, and I focus on helping team members reach their next career goal while finding satisfaction in their current roles.I have a personal passion for travel, having lived in France, Belgium, and Japan. Architecture and exploring beautiful old and historic homes readily put a smile on my face. I enjoy language study and am fluent in French and taught French 101 and 202 courses while a university student. I also have exposure to Japanese.I obtained “Certified Knowledge Manager” certification from Knowledge Management Institute, 09/25/2015Technical Skills include Oracle Knowledge Management, SharePoint, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, WellSaid, SnagIt, and Microsoft Office.

Listed skills include Captivate, Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, E Learning, and 30 others.
