CurrentThis role requires Mr. Modlin to manage various classified projects including the USG Department of Defense (DOD) Field and Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) base contract and task orders (~$200M/year), transition and tiger teams, as well as internal CONUS projects.Current responsibilities* Design approach and implement Project Management services for USG DOD FIRST base contract and task orders including phase-in, transition, implementation, mobilization, and execution across 30+ Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) within Southwest Asia while meeting customer’s operational and contractual requirements.* Ensure compliance of all (200+) customers Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) as outlined and detailed in the FIRST base contract and task orders. Create, update, and maintain contingency plans on an as-needed basis.* Using AGILE or Waterfall methodologies and/or hybrids provide strategic and resource planning across 3 business units to maximize synergies while maintaining current support levels.* Identify, implement, and integrate quality improvement initiatives and metrics utilizing Lean Six Sigma. Previous initiatives resulted in annual savings of 0.1% - 1.0% per year per firm fixed price project.* Research and recommend potential and emerging core business prospects to senior management.* Provide capture and proposal support on new and existing business opportunities to senior management.* Manage and lead in-country cross-functional transition teams (4-10 team members) through contract phase-in while mitigating/minimizing risk for new USG contracts.* Manage and maintain HRIS database for all AGS worldwide operations.* Create and maintain AGS CONUS Replacement Center (CRC), including all training Programs of Instructions (POIs) ensuring compliance with OCONUS deployment requirements as dictated by the U.S. Army Personnel Policy Guidance (PPG) in accordance with Fort Benning CRC and Camp Atterbury IRDO.* Supervise staff of 5.
