Managed all aspects of the law school, including three degree programs, approximately 80 full-time employees, 75 part-time employees, foundation accounts of $25M, and an annual budget of approximately $20M.Strategic Planning and Implementation. Oversaw strategic planning process involving all employees and hundreds of highly engaged students and alumni, resulting in Significant re-focusing of limited resources in small number of areas yielding competitive distinction. Oregon was one of only a handful of public law schools with three or more nationally-ranked specialty programs. Launch of a new satellite campus in downtown Portland. Expansion of clinical and experiential learning opportunities for students, including securing a new building to house clinics. Launch of a new undergraduate program in Legal Studies. Cost containment focused on relieving tuition pressure on students, resulting in three consecutive years of declining average student debt loads.Fundraising. Launched and led the organization through its most successful fundraising campaign in terms of total dollars, total donors, total documented estate gifts, and new donors. Raised more than $20M.Academic Programming. Provide ongoing leadership for three degree programs (J.D., LLM, and a Master’s Degree in Conflict and Dispute Resolution). Assured timely implementation of undergraduate program and satellite campus, both of which were approved and implemented within three years of the initial proposals.Access and Diversity. Increased annual student scholarship awards from $1.4M to $6.9M. By 2017, the law school had the highest percentage of students of color in its history, the highest percentage of women in its history, and the highest percentage of students of color of any graduate school or college at the University of Oregon.

See below for scholarly awards.•University Service. Elected Chair of the University President’s Faculty Advisory Council. Elected member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee. Member of the search team and transition team for the new University of Oregon President. •Professional Service. Chaired the AALS Section on Dispute Resolution. Serve on the Publications Board of the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution. Serve on the Editorial Board of one peer-reviewed journal and as a reviewer for a second peer-reviewed journal.

Part of leadership team that manages all law school programs related to dispute resolution, including courses, conferences, competitions, symposia, and research. Significant accomplishments include:•Creation of a university-wide, interdisciplinary master’s program in conflict and dispute resolution. The program now educates more than 50 graduate students and brings in more than $1 million per year in tuition.•Development and management of two self-funding programs: Competition Not Conflict (annual budget of approximately $200K) and Oregon Office of Community Dispute Resolution (annual budget of approximately $700K).•Successful private fundraising of more than $700K in the past few years, providing the resources for new programs and expanded student and faculty support.

Taught intensive courses on negotiation to second and third year law students and cross-registrants from other university graduate schools.

Conducted research projects and collaborated in the development of negotiation workshop curricula.

Supervised the operations of a clinical organization consisting of over 100 mediators serving twelve court systems or sessions.

Managed, designed, and delivered strategic assistance programs for public and private organizations in negotiation and conflict situations. Clients included the World Health Organization, the Supreme Court of Singapore, the Dutch Ministry of Justice, the World Bank, the Advocates Society of Canada, The Citadel, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Republic of Georgia, the Ktunaxa/Kinbasket Tribal Council, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Drafted opinions and bench memoranda for civil and criminal trials and for appellate cases. Developed and oversaw the implementation of the first fully electronic docketing and filing system in a federal district court.
