I am responsible for the execution of all municipal bond trades at the firm. Total municipal assets under management are 1.8 billion. Most of the clientele are wealthy individuals and families. With my manager we are constantly developing new strategies to maximize client returns. I'm also constantly on the look out for new and better sales coverage. I'm the primary contact person for any inquiries regarding municipals and if clients have any questions about their holdings. I also maintain the Bond Edge Fixed Income system. I am also the back-up for the taxable fixed income trader.

I perform analysis and monitor the institutional client reporting system known as VRP. I hunt for any problems or failures connected to VPR. Once found I document the problem and forward it to the developers. When the situation is corrected I re-test the item in question to determine if the fix has been successful or not.This interaction helps to build a strong working relationship with both the development team and the front line support team to ensure that standards and enhancements are met prior to implementation. I also make sure that proper procedures are followed with regards to management and security policies.

I was responsible for all fixed income trading with a focus on Municipals. Total assets under management was 2.5 billion of which 500 to 600 million were fixed income items. Most of the clients were wealthy individuals. I constantly identified attractive trading opportunities in order to enhance client returns. I did this by developing and cultivating an extensive network of relationships with sales professionals at numerous brokerages and banks. I had institutional coverage with 30 to 35 different contacts. I collaborated with the firm's portfolio managers to implement their client's goals and strategies. I generated presentation materials for individual client meetings using the "Perform" system. I was also the backup equity trader when needed.

I was responsible for the execution of municipal bond trades for approximately 2 billion in assets under management. I also co-managed 700 million in corporate cash and a municipal money market fund. Familiar with 2a7 rules. I assisted management in the implementation of investment strategy for municipal bond portfolios. I maintained relationships with brokers in order to achieve superior coverage of our accounts. I was also the primary contact person for client inquiries with regard to their municipal holdings. I helped to create marketing materials used for presentations and client meetings.

I developed procedures and controls associated with the firm's new Separate Management program. I served as the primary point man for financial advisors invested in the program. I was also responsible for the implementation of strategy changes as directed by the investment officers. This could involve account billings, trading activity, cash management statement preparation and client requests.
