I have over 40 years experience in commercial and recreational fishing including net design, tackle store management and commercial long-lining. I have commercially fished with long lines, set nets, drag nets, ring nets, purse nets and trawl nets. I have owned and operated NZ’s largest gillnet boat for many years. I now own Action Outdoors Limited which has a broad range of outdoor and fishing products.I am experienced in catching, processing and marketing fish and fish associated products and I have owned commercial fishing boats. My previous experience includes the ownership of retail fish shops. I am currently the owner of a retail and wholesale fishing tackle supplier to Australia, the Pacific and New Zealand. We specialise in tailor made fishing nets for NZ, Australia and the Pacific meeting each countries fishing regulations. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience with government fishing regulations and fishing quotas. I still hold a current commercial fishing license.
