Michael has worked in hospitality his entire life, with over three decades of experience. He has worked in nearly every department within a restaurant and found a love for them all- from his start in the dish pit of a small cafe in Calgary to his most recent role as a Managing Partner with Glowbal Group in Vancouver. Michael also studied at SAIT where he finished his first year of his Chef Apprenticeship and is a Level 1 Sommelier. Having a new found ability to combine his passion for food & service, his love of wine and his love of spending time with his wife Jennene, he has decided to leave his restaurant career behind to launch Picnic Platters & Catering with the goal of building Picnic from a catering company and into a market and cafe in the future.www.picnicwithus.ca
