Provided Leadership and direction to hourly team members by:-Monitored and maintained safety procedures and conditions to prevent accidents and provide a safe workplace.-Supervised staff including hiring, employee communications, training, discipline and evaluation.-Drove customer satisfaction through detailed focus on product reliability. Provide direction and support for an assigned hourly production team encompassing EHS, Quality, Material, Process, and Delivery.-Help motivate all employees in my production teams to perform their duties using established procedures to meet or exceed goals.-Planned, created, and executed production plans for all shifts, based on the master production plan, customer requirements, manpower (hours) and equipment availability, part availability, and develop recovery plans when demand changed or was not met.-Led continuous improvement by engaging people in active problem solving by analyzing trends to solve the root cause of problems.-Owned the department’s equipment, tooling, fixtures, key manufacturing processes, products and productivity.-Ensured all company policies are followed and take corrective actions accordingly.-Worked with the Team Leads to develop and execute training plans for all operators to ensure they have the skills needed to do their jobs and are sufficiently cross trained to optimize resource usage safely and correctly.-Provided clear and accurate communication to the work group. Ensured follow-up on issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.-Troubleshoot and solved operation problems when identified.-Promoted culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and collaborate problem solving. -Worked with sales, engineering, maintenance, inventory control to communicate work schedule and scheduled necessary resources to support company.-Identified opportunities to increase employee engagement, motivation, and collaboration across work groups.-Responsible for all Time and Attendance functions.
