Modified an interactive UNIX program to run automatically and scheduled it to run multiple times using Control-M and Expect. This helped the finance department run a large number of tax reports the same day to meet a short deadline which saved the company huge tax penalties.

Supervised over 20 people across two teams. Established operations procedures and assured all applications were available across the CHEP Global Enterprise. Ensured all established service level agreements and escalations were met, streamlined processes and maximized utilization of available resources. Automated various manual procedures to reduce effort and minimize errors.

Procured information systems equipment, acquired real estate, established security policies, coordinated work orders, and maintained all applications and systems. Spearheaded project to establish WAN access for all naval personnel in the unit on the Air Force network. This established connectivity for the Naval systems in the mother command based in Virginia and allowed our unit to augment their workforce saving overtime dollars and allowing on the job training for Reservists.Initiated the transfer of excess equipment from the Air Force to the Navy saving thousands of dollars of replacement equipment expense. Logistics duties involved supervision of warehouse personnel, booking orders at the mother command and shipping air and surface freight globally.

Performed the duties of OS390 system operator. Processed orders on the system for the different distribution centers to be shipped to the various stores. Coordinated with various departments within Publix as well as outside vendors to ensure production schedules were completed and payments were received in a timely manner. Monitored production job flows and recovered abended jobs by editing JCL and modifying job schedule as needed.
