As a Laboratory Analyst at IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group, I apply my PCR and microbiology skills to analyze a high volume of client samples and issue results using computer programs and databases. I have been working in this role for over seven years, during which I have conformed to ISO 17025 guidelines and delivered quality and timely service to the food and beverage industry.Prior to joining IEH Laboratories, I gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at ZeaChem Inc. and a Quality Improvement Technician at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. There, I used analytical equipment such as HPLC and GC, prepared microbiological cultures and media, conducted laboratory and field experiments, and performed quality audits on wine production lines. These experiences enhanced my laboratory skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, and prepared me for the challenges and opportunities in my current role. My goal is to continue to grow and learn as a Laboratory Analyst, and to contribute to the advancement of science and technology.
