Scope of Responsibilities included quoting and procurement of machined and electrical parts for the Newtown facility, negotiation of best price and timely delivery of materials, direct communication with vendors in the purchasing process, resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers, reconciliation of the POs within the Procurement system, creation of a data base to track order forms and ensure best and final price negotiation and schedule and expediting, and procure outside services for the Newtown facility. Utilized ERP, SAP and Excel on a daily basis. Programs involved in include: GPS, ORION, GOES, SIBRS, A2100, JABIRU, MUOS, P31, TIP, AEHF, CLIO, KU/KA, and BAND.Senior Engineering Technician Lab Lead Managed and supervised ten subcontractors working on the first of the A2100 BPC PWB’s Boards (Boost Power Convertor). Scope of Responsibilities included reporting the progress and status of the team, identifying problems with the build and resolving any, and coordinating the work, inspecting and ensuring the highest quality of work to meet the customer’s needs, and signing off on time allotted on the job for the subcontractors.Senior Engineering Technician Collaborated with a team of Engineers on various projects dealing with the Aerospace industry. Some of the projects included: A2100, TABS, Sterling Engine, LANDSAT and TIROS. Scope of Responsibilities included design and fabrication of various machined parts and transformers, final testing of all satellites which included Dynamics Analysis Test Phase, built and assembled various boards which included PWB boards (Printed Wire), STE (Satellite Test Equipment) and racks. Tools used included oscilloscope, Digital Volt Meters, Network Analyzers, LRC meters, and magnetic winding machines.
